Have you ever struggled with how to more effectively deploy all the people of your church in meaningful ministry? Help them discover their role in WorkLife Ministry! The majority of Christians spend the majority of their time at work, and work is also where Christians often have their most significant relationships with pre-Christians. Rather than call Christians out of their work setting to do ministry, affirm them, encourage them, and equip them for effective ministry in their worklife setting. As we have sought to strengthen our WorkLife Ministry, His Church at Work has been a valuable partner. Their church-based, process-oriented, and practical approach to WorkLife Ministry has helped thousands of Wooddalers give God glory in their worklife. Victory World Church responded to the call to equip believers to positively impact their workplaces and co-workers for the glory of God. Under the expertise and resourcing of HCAW we designed our WorkLife Ministry. We launched a series of initiatives designed to empower members to work with purpose. Those initiatives included a 4-week sermon series, a 6-week small group series, a dynamic online equipping center, a special teaching weekend for the entire church and a public commissioning service among others. Click here for a case study from Victory World Church.
The response of the congregation to such intense affirmation of the purposes of work was overwhelming! Numerous personal testimonies confirmed that God's people are hungry for a vision of significance in their work. Currently, our workplace leadership team is working closely with HCAW to implement strategies that will enable us to build on our initial success in a sustainable and intentional way. As the Worklife Director, I am honored to facilitate the process of teaching believers to consistently steward their time, talents and relationships at work. In His service,
Keenan R. S. Nix, Director of WorkLife Ministries Victory World Church, Norcross GA _________________________________________________________________

I have only a few times in my life experienced anything as powerful and as God filled as our church WorkLife Ministry Launch is turning out to be. It is great to partner with the His Church at Work team to build this transformational ministry.
As just one example of God's favor, at the conclusion of the initial ministry launch series on the 9-5 Window, we invited all who desired to come forward for a time of blessing and commissioning. They came forward by the hundreds, many with tears in their eyes. They were instructed to say, "My name is Nancy and I'm a nurse." One of our prayer partners would then anoint them and say: "Nancy, I anoint you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit as a nurse in the Kingdom of God. Go in peace and let your light shine." It was powerful.
I believe God desires that His church rise-up and use the good gifts it has been given to impact the culture for the Kingdom, and to prevail against the gates of Hell. His Church at Work will be used to help our church reclaim the land for the Lord Jesus Christ who came to restore all things. His Church at Work is on the cutting edge of helping the local church make a difference in the workplace by making a difference in the work-lives of their members. For too long the church has been docile in equipping and empowering followers of Christ to integrate their faith at work, basically because we did not know how. I believe HCAW is a major tool God is using to show the church how to launch an effective faith in the workplace ministry. They did it for us. I highly recommend HCAW to any local congregation that is passionate about developing Christ-dependent, Christ-led workers of influence in the workplace. Somewhere in time a tragic distinction was made that caused people to conclude that unless they were pastors or missionaries their work was second rate at best. Thankfully, Christians are beginning to reclaim the truth that God has created each of us to work, in varied settings, with varied skills, for His glory and with His pleasure. No matter what your title, your work matters to God, and He will work through you to affect your workplace with His glory and love.
Knowing this, Wooddale Church launched its workplace ministry, and the impact has already been significant! I have had many calls, e-mails and people stop me in the hall to tell me their appreciation of various aspects of the ministry. At this point, nearly 20% of our 5000 weekly church family are engaged with our workplace ministry and now taking steps to grow and impact others at work.
His Church at Work has laid the foundation for our sustainable workplace ministry at Wooddale Church. This has included personal consultation, development of ministry strategies, and creation of multiple online tools that help engage our congregation in ministry at their world of work. People have been greatly impressed with the professional and creative nature of the ministry, and they are grateful that we care about their work life.
I look forward to the continued growth and impact of this ministry innovation at Wooddale Church and strongly urge other churches to join the team. God is at work! Click here for a case study from Wooddale.

The 9 to 5 window in the American workplace is perhaps the greatest evangelistic opportunity that exists for churches in America today. Mobilizing and encouraging workplace ministry in your church will result in a passionate engagement of people in ministry that may have felt excluded in the past. Doug Spada and the "His Church at Work" organization has established one of the most cutting-edge church services of anyone in America - helping churches establish viable workplace ministry in their local congregation.
In a recent meeting with representatives of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, they explained to me that workplace ministry is one of the key initiatives for the BGEA over the next 50 years. I agree with Dr. Graham's assertion that the workplace is the most fertile ground for reaching people for Christ that exists today. I challenge you to connect with Doug Spada and find out how HCAW, a non-profit ministry, can help serve you and your church.

Helping the believer view their work with spiritual purpose and equipping them for ministry in their workplace needs to be a top priority for every church. Viewing people in the workplace as an "un-reached" people group will usher in a spiritual renewal like we have never seen.
Doug Spada and "His Church At Work" has been paramount in helping us change the mentality of our church. We needed more than a new ministry, we needed a paradigm shift. HCAW worked hard to help us with this shift by customizing their approach for what we needed. Click here for a case study from Mt. Paran. It's pretty obvious, but sometimes the most obvious things are the most easily overlooked. The people we are trying to help follow Jesus spend most of their waking hours NOT at our church, in our services or participating in our programs. Even the most involved amongst us spend most of their waking hours in work environments, be they offices, shops, sites, homes or campuses. So, here comes the obvious part, if we are going to help people authentically live for Jesus, that means they will succeed or fail depending on how they do with the roughly 60% of their waking hours at work. This is a clarion call to our church!
His Church at Work has helped us get intentional about ministry in and through the work lives of our people. They have facilitated the process to equip people to live for Christ in this critical area of life. We are now more fully addressing the whole person, and an area of life that is vitally important to us reaching our city. I think this is the beginning of a real movement of God in our church and city which will be used in greatly advancing the Kingdom of God. Click here for a case study from Journey.

What's missing in the work place of our day is a sense of vocation. Go back to our Pilgrim and Puritan forefathers and you will find they had it. They carried a sense that their work was a Divine appointment which carried with it a responsibility to the Savior's Kingdom and to society as a whole. The work place is an amazing arena through which God thrusts His people into their world to Answer His Call and Change Their World. Doug Spada and His Church at Work empowers the local church to help people find a sense of God's calling in their work rather than seeing it merely as a "career or a job." His Church at Work knows well how to do it. Their passion for the church and pastor is credible. His Church at Work can be a great help to your church in unleashing your people to change their world!
